Personal Care Sales/Product Manager Jnr. (36 hour/week)
Responsibilities:
In Sales you will work with distributors in your designated area, your role will be that of cosmetic expert. You will work independently, reporting to the Managing Director.
As Product Manager you will work closely together with the Senior Sales/Product Manager. You will acquire a broad knowledge of positioning and launching of cosmetic ingredients.
Within the team there is ample opportunity to exchange ideas.
Sales Management tasks:
• First contact for distributors and customers.
• Responsible for managing and evaluating existing distributors.
• Responsible for the pre-selection of distributors and the training of your
distributors.
• Visit customers, providing techno-commercial presentations, usually
together with the distributor.
• Provides technical presentations at communication platforms such as
exhibitions, seminars or webinars.
• Responsible for sales results.
• Spending approx. 25% of your time international business trips. The trip
duration is usually one working week.
Product Management tasks:
• Assists in the overall promotion of Sisterna and its products, such as
writing content for articles, brochures and the website and including
entries in databases etc.
• Assists in legal activities related to sugar esters: expansion of types and
applications, registration. Sets product specifications, safety data sheets
and statements. Investigates quality complaints and fills out
questionnaires. Maintains regular contact with the Japanese supplier.
• Initializes technical sales service projects and proposes concept studies.
• Co-organizes and conducts trainings for distributors and customers.
• Develops the topic, arranges the cosmetic samples and composes
content for special brochures and posters for exhibitions.
Job requirements:
• College/Academic level, direction: (Bio)Chemistry, Cosmetic Sciences.
• Starter or first job experience in sales and / or product development.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English. Preferably knowledge
of Spanish or another language (French or German).
Personality:
Customer focus, convincing, initiative, independent, collaborative.
