Sisterna^® sucrose esters with a medium to high HLB value are recommended for the development of O/W emulsions.

Advised products:

• Sisterna SP30-C/Sisterna SP70-C in a 3/1 ratio for natural skin care
• Sisterna PS750-C or Sisterna L70-C for production of sprays/wipes
• Sisterna SP70-C as co-emulsifier with a low HLB food emulsifier

W/O emulsions

Sisterna^® sucrose esters with a low HLB value are recommended for the development of W/O emulsions.

Advised products:

• Sisterna SP01-C and Sisterna SP10-C as co-emulsifier

Waterbased systems

Sisterna L70-C is suitable for use in leave-on water based systems. It is a non-irritant, EO-free surfactant that can be used for its foaming and solubilising properties.
