Sisterna expands its distributor network

(01/09/2008, Roosendaal, the Netherlands) Sisterna, supplier of Sisterna® sucrose esters, has expanded its network of food distributors. With the appointment of two exclusive distributors Barentz for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Bang & Bonsomer, for Finland and The Baltic states, Sisterna has increased its presence in Europe.

Both distributors have longterm experience with specialty ingredients in the food business. They can provide customers with excellent technological know how as well as logistic service. With these new partnerships Sisterna is capable to open up the market while at the same time maintaining its high service level for existing as well as new customers.

The emerging CEE and the Baltic States markets have developed to a level in which their need for, specialty ‘niche’ ingredients has matured to a commercial interesting level. This has led to the subsequent expansion of the distributor network in the CEE-personal care market. With the success in the personal care market and the increasing demand in the food business the choice for expanding the food distributor network was a logical next step.

Existing customers in countries like Poland, Hungary or Slovenia will soon be contacted by Barentz. All contacts within the respective countries will be informed about our new business partners.
